Member Jungle Product Release and Feature Updates

Here is an overview of what we have released over the last few years. 

 

Product Releases in 2025 

 

August 2025

• Digital Wallet Integration: Easily email members links to download their digital member cards directly to their Apple or Google Wallets

• Improved PowerData Forms: Form submission emails have been visually updated for better readability and compatibility across all email clients

• Flexible Organisation IDs: You can now select the correct organisation ID type (e.g., ABN) to display on your site and invoices

• Enhanced Email Auditing: Enhanced Email Auditing: We've made it easier to understand why emails are blocked and have added a new process for unblocking addresses to prevent future spam issues.

• Mobile App Updates: Administrators can now view members' mobile numbers on event registrations, and uploaded document names will now display correctly on the app.

 

July 2025

• Bulk Editing of Members: You can now perform bulk actions on members, including adding/removing tags, deleting, archiving, and changing expiry dates.

• Digital Wallet Cards: Member cards can now be added to Google and Apple wallets for use on phones and watches.

• Event Attendance Report Enhancements: The event attendance report now allows you to filter by members and non-members, search for event names, and email people directly from the report. 

• New Cancellation Form: The cancellation form has been moved to the administration area for full site administrators. 

• Two-Factor Authentication Enforced: Starting August 4th, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will be enforced for all system administrators who can access member data.

• Login Report – now includes failed app logins.
   

Late May 2025

• Email Snippets: You can now save, edit and insert email snippets into your emails sent via the Membership Module.

• Manage and View Email Recipients: You can individually manage and remove recipients from membership and events email lists.

• Add Logo to All Wrapped Emails: You can now add your own logo to all automated and wrapped emails, where previously just the organisation name had appeared. 

• Bounced and Blocked Email Report: This new Email Log module shows a record of all emails delivered from the system, as well as showing all bounced email messages and blocked accounts. 

• Email and SMS Campaign: Email Templates have now been separated from Draft messages, so you can easily preview templates and create email drafts from the templates.

• SMS Messages: We can now allow longer SMS messages to be sent via the Campaign Module.

• Login Codes to the App & via SMS: You can now receive codes directly to the Member Jungle mobile app if you have an active device.

 

Early May 2025

• Membership Coupon Codes: Functionality to create coupon codes for discounts on membership products or an entire cart.

• Additional Gender Option: Added a gender-neutral "Mx" title to membership forms.

• Account Field Email Improvement: Improvements were made to the Account field in membership, allowing it to inherit changes made to forms in the security module.

• Security System Report: Additional auditing was added to the system report to show all changes made in the Site Designer. 

• SMS Campaign Read Statistics: Old incorrect statistics were removed from the SMS campaigns.

• Lazy Loading of Images: Websites now use lazy loading of images to improve performance and speed. 

 

Late March 2025

• New Member Sign-up and Renewal Process: After taking on your feedback, we have improved the sign-up and renewal process for members.

• Fixed Heights for Quicklinks: There is now a new option to control the height for all quicklink objects

• Reordering in for Accordions, Quicklinks & Tabs: You can now drag and drop to reorder these elements.

 

Early March 2025

• Muted Emails: The ability to search for members with muted emails was added to the Advanced Member Search and Custom Report.

• Auditing: Extra auditing was added when a member renews or has membership expiry dates altered, showing both old and new dates.

• Activity Report: More filters were added to the Activity Report.

• Member Card QR and Barcodes: The Member Jungle digital card now supports more QR and barcode formats.

 

Product Releases in 2024

 

December 2024

• Show Remaining Event Tickets: You can now see the number of remaining event tickets, limit tickets so that they can be seen by the public but only sold to members and control the "sold out" message text.

• Event Pending Payments Widget: There is now a pending payments widget on the Events Dashboard.

• Purchase Event Tickets: Control the name of the text that shows to purchase event tickets on the website and mobile app.

• Main Event List Changes: You can now filter all events by date and also export all event information. 

• Event Reports: 'All Events in Date Range' can be selected in the Sales and Ticket Reports. 

 

November 2024

• Recurring Events: You can now create recurring events in Member Jungle.

• Display Event Registrations on the Website: Previously attending registrants could be shown on the app, and they have now been added to the website if the setting 'Show Registrations' is selected.

• Limit Tickets to Members Only: You can now make tickets available only to specific Member Levels.

• Event Discounts: Previously, you could only add % discounts on tickets; we have now added $ discounts as well. 

• Event Contributors -This role has been updated to allow viewing of registered members’ details and scanning of members into events.

• PowerData Module Changes: The PowerData module has had a refresh, lots of new features and custom reporting. 

• Blog Module: now includes extra SEO options, allowing you to edit meta details and set a permanent friendly link.

• Member Jungle App Event Filters: You can now filter events by event type and event category on the app.

 

October 2024

• Events Calendar Output Widget: now lets you choose to start the week on either Monday or Sunday

• Member Audit: Auditing occurs when a member adds their Member Jungle digital card to Apple or Google Wallet.

• AI Chat Bot Beta Launch: We’re beta testing an AI Chat Bot that answers support questions from our support site. Updates on full release to follow.

 

September 2024

• Events Module: this module is now in the header navigation.

• Online Store Product Description: The allowed description length has been tripled.

 

Mid-September 2024

• Membership Email & Import Updates: 'Failed Renewals' email to admins has been simplified, and the 'Notes' field in Import is now renamed to 'Dietary Requirements.'
   
• Business Directory: Improved the Keyword search for the Business Directory.

 

August 2024

• Wallet Card Integration Beta: We’ve launched the beta for Apple and Google Wallet card integration

• JungleVision Makeover: JungleVision AI Image Generation now has a new look, a faster model, and even better image quality—making it easier and more fun to use.

 

July 2024

• Membership Updates: Archived members’ past form submissions are now accessible. Free memberships now follow auto-approve rules, and initial work on Apple and Google Wallet cards has begun.

• Payments Update: Settlements are no longer shown for Manual payment methods, as they didn’t apply.

 

June 2024

• New Blog Output Widget: A new, highly configurable Blog Output widget was released, allowing you to select a blog category and more.

• Membership Import Enhancements: Membership Import now supports matching on more fields and updating selected matching fields.

 

May 2024

• AfterPay Available: Customers with their own Stripe can activate AfterPay as an option.

• Dataset Report: The Dataset report no longer auto-queries your data; apply filters and search, just like in the Custom Report.

• Image Management: We have added the new Image Uploader into the News, Events and Slideshow modules, which helps you resize and crop images on upload.

 

April 2024

• Additional Gender Options: New gender options are now available for import and export.

• Invoice Improvements: A maximum height for invoice logos has been set, and an Invoice Preview feature was added.

• Emails: A clear unsubscribe link is now added to all system emails to comply with new email provider requirements.

• Business Directory: You can now delete a business's Header Background Image, and performance improvements were made to business directory displays.

• Custom Objects: Custom Objects now show how many pages use them, which is helpful for cleanup.

• Other: The Settings and Subscription pages were given a new design, and improvements were made to how Google Tag Manager code is included.

 

March 2024

• Auditing: Additional auditing has been added for changes to the Middle Name and the Emergency Contact Details.

• Custom Report: speed improvements have now been made on this report.

• Dataset Management Update: Datasets can now be fully deleted, not just deactivated.

 

February 2024

• Event Types: You can now create and colour-code Event Types.

• Single Month Calendar Widget: The single month calendar widget has been improved to allow website viewers to select a month, week, year, or list view.

• Restricted Access Settings for Scheduled Emails: If you are using restricted access settings, event administrators can now only send scheduled emails to their restricted member levels.

• Product Catalogue: You can now add role and member tag restrictions on product catalogue categories.

• Membership Subscriptions: Administrators can now add a member to a subscription product and process their first payment.

 

January 2024

• Member Tags: You can now create Member Tag groups, which can be added to a membership form and allows members to select which groups they are a part of. 

• Membership Product & Level Reordering: You can now drag and drop them membership levels and products to reorder them. 

• Event Cancellations: You can now cancel event or registration bookings for completed events. 

• Event Latitude & Longitude Changes: There is now a marker and map for all event addresses, that allows you to drag the marker to give a more precise location to where an event is being held.

• Custom Products: Add and sell custom products or invoice one-off amounts via the product catalogue, with the option to save for re-use.

• Account Creation: Admins can now create a purchaser account during checkout if the buyer isn’t already in the system.

• Mobile App Product Catalogue: The product catalogue can now be enabled in the mobile app, with the option to choose which products are available for sale.

• Pasting External Images: You can now copy and upload pasted images directly to Member Jungle servers.

• Image Uploader Improvements: New options let you rotate, crop, and zoom images before upload.

• Search Widget Improvements: New widget with better results, showing titles, URLs, and descriptions, plus module or full-site search.

• Blog Search Widget: Improved blog search with better weighted results.

• Web-Based Chat Rooms: Desktop chat rooms now support reactions.

 

Product Releases for 2023

 

November 2023

• Membership App Search Roles: Only full Site Administrators can update App Search roles to better protect member data.

• Blog Link Handling: Incorrect blog links are now handled better, improving SEO and Google search results.

• Advanced Site Search: Minor tweaks made; a better weighted search is coming soon.

• Product Catalogue on Mobile App (BETA): Members can now purchase from the app, and admins can process orders.

 

October 2023

• Custom Report Builder: A new module was released that allows you to build custom reports with the data you need. 

• Member Scanning in the App: The ability to scan members using the Member Jungle App was released.

• In Case of Emergency Contact Details: ICE contact details can now be added to member and account forms.

• Output Widget to Display Membership Level Details: A new page output widget was created to display details about membership levels, products, and pricing.

• Additional Access to Member Scanning: All Membership Administrators of any level can now scan members in the Member Jungle App.

• Membership Level Order: A new field, "Custom Order," was added to control the order of membership levels.

• Email & SMS Credits: Purchase SMS and email credits directly from the Campaign Module.

• Security Module Enhancements: More details on Roles and Privileges, plus additional auditing in the System Report. Admins with full access can view a member’s Login and Permissions.

• Updated Help System: Help is now fully context-sensitive, showing relevant knowledge base articles within the admin area.

• Email & SMS Delivery Improvements: Updates to reduce spam flags and improve email/SMS delivery, including 2FA messages.

 

September 2023

• Custom Membership Report: Slice and filter membership data across all fields, export results, or bulk email members.

• Standardised Account/Demographic Fields: Site Admins can control visible fields in member forms and propagate settings across forms. New Nickname and Title fields added.

• Product Role Restrictions Improvements: Non-public products are hidden unless role restrictions allow access, making changes immediately visible to admins.

• Events Registration Update: Events Administrators can now add registrations even for completed events.

• Member Jungle App Enhancements: Link-only pages can now be added to the app for members to access external content.

• Security Auditing: Increased audit logging for permissions, roles, and account creation, viewable in the System Report.

• Page Management Update: MP3 embedding process rebuilt for better compatibility across all devices.

 

Late-August 2023

• Opt-In Chat Rooms: Members can choose to join or leave opt-in chat rooms, ideal for sub-groups or special interest chats.

• Event Linked Chats: Linked chat rooms can now be managed in Chat Administration, including deletion and direct event editing links.

• PowerData Report Widget: Display only data entered by the logged-in user, useful for tracking requests or progress histories.

• Events Address Update: Full event address details now appear consistently on both the website and app.

• Address Creation Fix: Resolved issues with countries that don’t have states or counties, like Hong Kong.

 

July 2023

• Enhanced Reporting: New filters and columns were added to the member reports, giving you more control over the data.

• New Page Builder: A new page builder was released to make it easier to design and manage your website pages.

• Re-send Emails – Members: Admins can now re-send Welcome, Renewal, Reminder, or Invoice emails from the member list.

• Members Dashboard – Emails: Members can view all emails sent to them from the Member Jungle system in their dashboard.

• Re-send Emails – Events: Re-send invoices or registration emails for Ticketed or Registration events.

• Re-send Emails – Product Catalogue: Re-send order invoices and tracking emails for all orders.

• Organisation Support Contacts: Add more support contacts up to your plan’s limit in Organisation Settings.

 

June 2023

• Show Company Name in Lists: Option to display member company names in lists, reports, and payment details. Requires the Company field to be active in registrations.

• Member Level Cleanup: Improved terminology and added help links for easier navigation in Member Level settings.

• QR Code in Member Pop-Up: Members’ QR codes can now be displayed for easy event registration via app scanning.

• Event Email Preferences: ‘Mute Marketing Email’ settings are now respected for scheduled event emails to unregistered members.

• Chat Message Handling: Long chat messages now display as continuous messages instead of multiple chunks.

• 2FA Admin Fix: Admins can now change 2FA methods without re-verifying accounts.

• App Enhancements: Improvements include member scanning for ticketed events, better member search, and notification centre updates.
   

Late May 2023

• Events and Chat: Link a chatroom to events for registered members only, and choose how long it stays open.

• Payments: Stripe integration updated for more flexible payments.

• Security: Site payment changes now tracked in the System Audit Report.

• Other: Assign Xero codes per module plus fees, surcharges, delivery, and discounts.

 

May 2023

• Product Catalogue: Set cart-wide shipping rates by order value, with options for ranges, free shipping, or product-specific overrides.

• Events: Add QR codes to event and membership emails, allowing members to be scanned into events via the app.

• Membership: Include required or optional catalogue products with memberships, plus improved product catalogue reports.

• Comparison Report: Now supports more phone number formats when comparing CSV files with system data.

• Payments Report: New filters and export options available in the Membership Payment Report.

• Security: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for admins and members to improve login security.

• Other: Assign Xero account codes per module for sales, used in Site Payments Export to Xero.

• Membership – Change a Member’s Product: Admins can now change a member’s product directly, with options to take extra payment and update expiry.

• Membership – Filters on Member Pop-up: New date and keyword filters on Notes, Events, Payments, and Security tabs for easier member record searches.

• Membership – Security Tab in Pop-up: A new Security tab shows login activity and security details like password resets for each member.

• PowerData Forms – Clone Forms: Easily duplicate existing PowerData forms with a single click.

• PowerData Forms – Responder Email: Option to send confirmation emails (with entered data) to the person submitting the form.

• Payments – Xero Export Enhancements: Site Payments exports now split multi-item orders into multiple lines and include service and platform fees.

• Payments – Xero Account Codes: Set different Xero account codes for each module in Organisation Settings.

• Security and Accounts – Edit Account Form: Control which demographic fields appear, are required, or read-only in member accounts.
