How to login as a Member or User

Standard Login

  • If an email address is entered instead of a username, the system will recognise the account and email the correct username to log in.

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) can be enabled for members and is enforced for users with administrative module access to enhance the security of club data and member details. 2FA codes can be sent via:

    • Email
    • SMS if available
    • Mobile app notification (for users already logged in to the app but accessing their account from another browser or device).
    • Authenticator app - the system will not send a code; instead, you can use the code generated in the app to log in.

Passkeys & Easy Login

  • One-Time Login Code (OTP) & Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) : If a password is forgotten or hasn’t been set up, users can log in using a One-Time Login Code. Depending on what’s available or already set up in the account, OTP or 2FA codes can be sent via:
    • Email
    • SMS if available
    • Mobile app notification (for users already logged in to the app but accessing their account from another browser or device).
    • Authenticator app - the system will not send an OTP; instead, you can use the code generated in the app to log in.

  • Passkey: Another secure option is to log in using a passkey, which allows quick access by scanning a QR code displayed on your screen. This will be a default option once enabled.

2. reCAPTCHA: May be triggered if you are logging in for the first time or from a different browser.

reCAPTCHA

Note: CAPTCHA may be triggered before entering your password in several situations, such as:

  • Frequent logins and logouts

  • Using Incognito or private browsing windows

  • Multiple failed login attempts

CAPTCHA may also appear if a user is not signed into Google or fails the initial CAPTCHA challenge. Please note that Google manages CAPTCHA functionality, so Member Jungle cannot influence whether you pass or fail, nor control the images displayed.

3. If 2FA is enabled, please note that the options for where to send the code depend on what is available in your account and what you have set up.

To enable 2FA, please see here: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

To enable the Authenticator App, please see here: How to Configure Authenticator App

If 2FA is enabled

  • Once 'Trust this Device' is ticked, the system will skip asking for a verification code the next time you log in for a maximum of 7 days using the same device, IP address, and browser. By default, the code will be sent to the option you previously selected during your last login.

  • For the Member Jungle app option, please note that the code is delivered via app notification. You can access the code from your notification banner, and clicking it will open the app directly. The app does not store or save the code. Please ensure that notifications are enabled in your device settings.
