2026 Membership Management Key Statistics For Clubs & Associations

Date:

Analysing membership management statistics is vital for understanding current club growth trends and benchmarking your own organisation's success. In 2025, data showed a significant rise in association event data, with a 34% increase in total events hosted. Furthermore, communication strategies are evolving, with a nearly 90% jump in SMS marketing for clubs and a 47% increase in push notifications. By reviewing these membership renewal rates and club engagement metrics, administrators can better plan their strategies for a successful 2026.

At the start of each year, the Member Jungle team crunches the numbers on a whole bunch of things that the organisations using Member Jungle did throughout the previous year. Seeing as they have done all the hard work crunching these numbers for us, let’s have a look at them and see how your club or association is stacking up and what you can aim to achieve in the year to come.

So, without further ado, let’s have a look at what you did in 2025.

I have been doing new versions of this article for three years, and each year I compare the number of people who use Member Jungle to the population of Australian Cities.

In 2023, more people used Member Jungle than lived in Darwin, the country's 17th most populous city. In 2024, we had more people than Cairns, the 15th most populous city. In 2025, the number of members using Member Jungle grew to 194,274, more than Australia’s 14th-largest city, Townsville. Hobart is next on the list, and if we continue to grow at this rate, we will outnumber them by the end of 2026.

The clubs and association websites hosted by Member Jungle had just shy of 30 million public views, a 75% increase from 2024, which is again a strong sign that the organisations using Member Jungle are experiencing really strong growth.

Despite 30 million public page views, 4 million admin page views and 12 million robot page views (AIs scraping websites for information), the average load time on Member Jungle-hosted websites decreased by a full 20%.

What Did The Average Organisation Look Like In 2025?

Finally, let’s look at the average organisation using Member Jungle in 2025. When looking at these figures, it’s important to remember that averages can be a little misleading. For example, the "average" person technically has slightly fewer than two legs, one testicle, and one breast. Now that that image is in your head, let’s crack on.

The average organisation in 2025:

  • Had 434 members
  • Had 41 events
  • Made $10,000 from their events
  • Had their mobile app used 4,261 times
  • Sent 401 chatroom push notifications
  • Sent over 12,000 emails
  • Had their website visited 66,000 times
