Membership Growth Over The 2024/25 Financial Year
Review the latest membership growth trends for clubs and associations over the 2024/25 financial year, comparing the performance of organisations using Member Jungle to the industry averages. Discover insights into long-term membership increases and annual growth rates. This analysis highlights how effective membership management tools can help organisations meet or exceed industry standards, even as overall membership growth slows.
It has become somewhat of a tradition here at Member Jungle that, at the start of each new financial year, we look back on the past year to see how much the clubs and associations have grown over the past twelve months.
From the jump, I want to make one thing clear: We at Member Jungle are not taking credit for this growth. This growth is due to all the hard work and effort the people running these clubs and associations have put in over the last year. Member Jungle doesn’t directly cause membership growth; what Member Jungle does is take care of and automate all the intricate, time-consuming nonsense that comes with running a membership organisation, so admins have the time to focus on the important stuff.
Overall Membership Growth
Let's begin with some long-term growth figures. I recently reviewed the 2025 Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report, which covers the growth statistics of clubs and associations over the last five years. I thought it’d be helpful to see how Member Jungle customers have been performing long-term and compare them to the industry average.
Overall, 54% of clubs and associations using Member Jungle experience sustained membership growth, which surpasses the industry average of 51% seeing long-term growth (2025 Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report). On top of that, the average membership increase for organisations using Member Jungle was an impressive 52% over their time with the platform, compared to the industry average of 26%.

20.4% of organisations using Member Jungle saw member growth of 11% - 49%, down compared to the Benchmarking reported 34%. However, 21.4% of organisations using Member Jungle saw growth of over 50%, up compared to Benchmarks’ reported 11%.

Membership Growth Over 2024/25
According to the 2025 Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report, membership growth slowed down in 2024, with 45% of organisations reporting growth down from 47% the previous year. Over the 2024/25 financial year, 49% of the clubs and associations using Member Jungle reported growth, which is slightly higher than the industry average of both 2024 and 2023.
When it comes to how much those clubs and associations grew over the past financial year, there was an average increase of 8.03% up slightly from the 2023/24 financial year, which saw an average growth of 7.33%. The Benchmark report, which I’ve referenced several times already today, showed the average growth in the industry was 8%.

According to the 2025 Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report, 20% of membership organisations saw an increase of 11% or higher over the last year. Organisations using Member Jungle did slightly better, with 28.3% having an increase of 11% or higher over the last financial year.
The top 50% of clubs and associations using Member Jungle saw a 29.4% increase over the 2024/25 financial year, which is up from the Member Jungle average of 28.4% in the 2023/24 financial year.

Overall, it’s good news for clubs and associations using Member Jungle, on average, they are meeting or exceeding industry standards for growth in the industry and not showing too many signs of the slowing down in growth that the wider industry has seen.
