All The New Member Jungle Features That Came Out In 2025

Date:

The Member Jungle updates in 2025 introduced more than 150 improvements to the platform, with a strong focus on membership system security and performance. Key highlights include the rollout of 2FA for administrators, support for passkeys, and the introduction of email snippets to streamline communication. Perhaps most significantly, the server migration benefits have resulted in a 30-50% increase in website loading speed. Through continuous software development, Member Jungle ensures that your organisation’s digital tools remain modern and never become obsolete.

2025 was a big year, and a whole lot of amazing things happened. A live colossal squid was filmed for the first time, exactly 100 years after we discovered they existed. Two tech executives were caught having an affair when they were shown on the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert. And after nine years, Stranger Things finally came to an end. An ending only slightly undercut by the fact that it took so many years for the show to wrap, the Stranger Things kids basically looked like the cast of Grown Ups by the time it finished.

Amidst all the great things happening around the world, a lot of really great things also happened at Member Jungle. The Member Jungle Development Team spent 2025 working ridiculously hard on adding new features to Member Jungle and making everything run faster and smoother. So, let’s take a minute to look at all the new Member Jungle features that came out during 2025.

New Member Jungle Features In 2025

During 2025, the Member Jungle Dev Team released over 150 updates, new features and improvements to the Member Jungle system. Obviously, I can’t list all of the new features here; no one wants to spend the rest of their day reading a long list of new features. So, here are just a few of the new features that came out in 2025.

New Database In 2025

Beyond the updates and changes, the Development team’s major project for 2025 was migrating the heart of our platform to a faster, more scalable and highly secure infrastructure. Now, everything about this cutover to the new server was ridiculously complicated, and the dev team seemed completely exhausted after achieving this task. However, as I don’t have a degree in software engineering and instead got myself into $30k worth of debt to learn how to write words good, this is about the limit of my ability to explain what it involved.

What I can explain, however, is what effect all of this will have on you. So, let’s do that.

First, by moving to more powerful, modern hardware, we’ve essentially upgraded the engine of the entire Member Jungle system. This new underlying software provides a more stable, high-performance environment, the foundation the Development Team needs to build and launch the next generation of advanced features.

Secondly, this new server is more stable and faster than the previous one. This will mean that websites hosted by Member Jungle will experience less downtime and be significantly faster when loading. When a website already takes a fraction of a second to load, these improvements will be hard to spot, but they are there. I badgered the Dev Team to work out exactly how much faster webpages were loading and how much loading time we’d cut back on in total, and it’s crazy. The websites are now loading 30-50% faster, which means over a month, we are saving 130 hours of loading time. That’s enough time to watch every single Best Picture Oscar winner since 1970. That’s enough time to watch that first-ever video of a Colossal Squid I mentioned in the intro 4,978 times in a row. That’s enough time to… do something equally improbable with your time. You get the point, it’s a lot of time saved.

How Do Member Jungle Updates Work?

The Member Jungle Development Team is continually working to improve the Member Jungle system and add new features to make it more useful. At the end of each month, they publish a Product Release with a range of new features, improvements, and bug fixes. This is often accompanied by an update for the Member Jungle Mobile app, which is also designed, built and updated entirely in-house.

In the world of technology, if your software and hardware aren't moving forward, they are effectively moving backward.

These continuous improvements are crucial for a few key reasons. Having a system that is continuously updating is incredibly important. Technology is always improving and moving forward; if the software of your system and the hardware it is being run on aren’t moving forward, they might as well be moving backwards.

I recently booted up an old phone from 2016 to get some old photos from it. When I bought it, it was the big dog of Samsung’s lineup, fast, powerful and years ahead of its time. However, when I started it up again, it was tiny, moved at a snail’s pace, and lagged constantly because it was stuck on an operating system from 2018. In just under 10 years, this phone had become completely obsolete and useless.

Member Jungle and that phone both launched in 2016. The difference is that while the phone became obsolete, running on old hardware and software, Member Jungle has undergone constant software and hardware updates, like our recent server migration, to remain more modern and useful than ever.

The beauty of these continuous, incremental updates is that the system evolves steadily over time. There is no massive update that changes and everything and makes you need to relearn how to use the system. It just keeps slowly growing in the background, staying relevant and useful.

A Sneak Peek At 2026 Updates

The Development Team have a lot planned for 2026, I can’t reveal the update roadmap quite yet. However, I can say that the new server is going to allow for some more streamlining of admin tasks, more advanced integrations with helpful AI tools, and more powerful tools in general, which will help reduce the manual parts of running your organisation.

The goal is to make Member Jungle faster, smarter, and more capable of doing the heavy lifting for you. Stay tuned to our monthly Product Releases in early 2026 to see these enhancements start to roll out.
