Membership Growth Over The 2025/26 Financial Year
At the end of each financial year, we take a peek at how the clubs and associations using Member Jungle have gone over the previous 12 months. We work out how many are seeing growth in member numbers, how much that typical growth is and a whole bunch more. We also compare it to the industry-standard data from the 2026 Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report to see how it all stacks up.
So, if you want to see how your growth stacks up against other people using Member Jungle and how all of you stack up against the wider industry, then you’re in the right place.
I think it’s worth noting that I am not claiming we at Member Jungle are responsible for our customers' growth. That is due to all the hard work and effort the people running these clubs and associations have put in over the last year. Member Jungle doesn’t directly drive membership growth; it automates and streamlines all the intricate, time-consuming, annoying nonsense so that admins have time to focus on the important stuff and grow their organisations.
Summary of Key Findings
- Outperforming the Industry: Over the 2025/26 financial year, 50.57% of Member Jungle customers experienced growth; this is significantly higher than the industry average of 38%.
- Higher Median Growth: The median growth rate for growing Member Jungle organisations reached 12%; the industry standard remained stagnant at 8%.
- Significant High-End Growth: 56% of growing Member Jungle clubs experienced growth rates of 11% or more; conversely, only 26% of the wider industry reached this tier.
- Addressing the Lows: While overall growth was higher, Member Jungle customers who experienced a loss saw a slightly higher median decrease (9%) compared to the industry standard (5%).
What Percentage Of Membership Organisations Grew Over 2025/26?
Over the 2025/26 financial year, exactly 50.57% percent of clubs and associations using Member Jungle experienced member growth. This is slightly up from last year, where 49% of clubs and associations using Member Jungle experienced growth.
Conversely, the industry-standard growth rate was noticeably lower, with only 38% of organisations experiencing growth over the past 12 months, down from 45% the previous year.
Now, I am not normally going to give you percentages in decimal points, but I felt the need to this time as 50% just feels like way too round a number to be accurate, but it is.

What Was The Median Membership Growth Over 2025/26?
The median growth for those who experienced growth was 12% for Member Jungle customers. Which is up slightly from 8% last year. The industry standard growth rate was 8%, unchanged from the previous year.

Among those who experienced a loss in membership, Member Jungle customers had a median decrease of 9%, slightly higher than the industry median of 5%.
The growth rates get even more interesting when we start pulling apart how many organisations grew by what percentage.
In the broader industry, 26% of membership organisations grew by 11% or more, while at Member Jungle, 56% did. Meaning that while the vast majority (75%) of organisations not using Member Jungle saw growth rates of under 11%, a much lower 44% of Member Jungle customers experienced those growth rates.

As you can see from that graph, Member Jungle customers experienced higher growth than the industry average, which predominantly saw low growth rates.
Other Interesting Growth Statistics From The Past Year
While those are the big headline statistics, there are a few other little interesting tidbits that I think are worth mentioning. So here they are:
- 14 Member Jungle customers grew by more than 100% over the last year
- 31 Member Jungle customers grew by more than 50% over the last year
- The top 50% of clubs and associations using Member Jungle saw a 37% increase over the 2025/26 financial year. Up from 29% and 28% the last two years.
Summary Of Membership Growth At Member Jungle
For the second year in a row, the clubs and associations using Member Jungle outperformed the wider industry. Half of all organisations using Member Jungle experienced membership growth in the last year, which is more than last year and more than the industry average. The average amount of growth for those using Member Jungle was also higher than the previous year and the industry average. This difference was most notable in the higher end of growth, where 17% of Member Jungle customers grew by over 50%, compared to just 3% in the wider industry. However, the lows were lower with the average membership decrease among Member Jungle customers 9%, slightly worse than the industry average of 5%.
Nonetheless, those using Member Jungle are definitely staying ahead of those who are not.
