Interesting Things To Check Out On Trial At Member Jungle

The Member Jungle trial may seem big and intimidating from the outside looking in, but in reality, it really isn’t. The Member Jungle free trial is a relaxed, commitment-free way to check out the system and see if it is best for your club or association. 

There are a bunch of articles and videos guiding you through the process, and you can spend as much or as little time in the trial as you want. 

With that in mind, today we are going to have a look at some of the most interesting and entertaining things you can check out on your Member Jungle trial. 

1. Customise The Member Jungle App

I always get a lot of joy out of customising the look of something, especially when it is super simple and easy to do. 

You can customise the look of your Member Jungle app super easily by jumping onto your trial site. Just go to the “Member Jungle App'' section in the “Modules” tab. Then, navigate using the sidebar to “App Design.” You will then see the page below. 

 

 

From this page, you can customise the logo displayed on the app’s main page, the background image, and the highlight colour. Changing these will allow you to quickly change the look and feel of your app.

While the app’s overall framework cannot change much, a few tweaks here and there can drastically alter its vibe. It is absolutely worth playing around with to find the perfect combination for your club. 

Keep in mind that unless you pay for custom-designed digital membership cards, any changes you make to the app colour and logo will be reflected on your members’ digital membership cards.

2. Set Up Your Group Chats

Group chat rooms offer an informal way for members to communicate with each other and for members to communicate with each other. They can be a great addition to your club, so you should take full advantage of your trial and set up a few group chats. 

You can do this by going to your trial site's “Modules” tab and clicking “Chat Room.” Here, you can view your existing group chats and add new ones.  

You can name your group chats whatever you want, decide who will have access to them, and set the chat's duration. Member Jungle’s group chat rooms are highly flexible, allowing you to set up multiple chats for different purposes. 

For example, you can have a group chat that all members are automatically a part of, 

• you can have a chat that is restricted by membership level or role, so only committee members or activity leaders can see the chat, 
• you can have opt-in group chats for special interest groups, 
• you can even have event linked chats that are created as part of an upcoming event and delete a set amount of days after the event.

 

The Member Jungle group chats are flexible and customisable enough that you can create a wide range of group chats for different purposes. So, I recommend playing around with them and seeing what sort of uses you can come up with for them.

3. Play Around with Your Site Design 

The final thing you can do is visit the site designer. Here, you can customise almost every part of your website's front end. 

Now, this may be something you end up doing yourself, or it may be something you hand over to the Member Jungle team to do. Either way, it’s worth looking around at what’s possible customisation-wise.
