How Much Do Other Clubs And Associations Use The Member Jungle App?

The Member Jungle app is a fantastic tool that makes your life and the lives of your members much easier. However, as I’ve spent a lot of time interviewing Member Jungle customers, one common thread I’ve heard is that admins often wish more of their members would use the app. 

I have talked previously about 5 Ways To Get More Of Your Members Using The Member Jungle App. However, I thought I’d take a moment to look at the average percentage of members using the app across different organisations to give you a bit of a benchmark of how your app usage compares. 

Average Percentage Of App Users Across All Member Jungle Organisations 

So, having very politely asked the more technically minded Member Jungle team members to crunch the numbers for me, I can now give you the inside scoop on how common app usage is. 

Across all the clubs and associations that use Member Jungle, the average percentage of members using the Member Jungle app is 40%. That equals just over 66,000 members using the Member Jungle app, which is more than the population of Hervey Bay in Queensland. 

 

 

However, despite the average percent of app usage being 37.07%, this varies a lot by industry, with particular clubs and associations using it more and less. So, now, let’s have a look at those statistics. 

Average Percentage Of App Users By Industry

App users by industry vary greatly depending on the type of industry in question, with more outdoor organisations like motorbike clubs and bushwalking clubs having an average app usage of 75% and 66% respectively. In contrast, more indoor business-oriented groups like chambers of commerce and professional associations average around a 22% app usage rate. 

All other types of clubs and associations fall somewhere between these two figures. So, let’s quickly review the average app usage of different industries.

• Car Clubs - 46%
• Licensed Clubs - 38% 
• Sporting Clubs - 37% 
• Community & Interest Groups - 28% 
• Associations & Chambers of Commerce - 22%

Obviously, every club or association has different demographics and needs, so don’t stress if your statistics aren’t the same as the ones above. These are just a rough guide of what you should aim for if you want to set some goals. If you are already at or exceeding these averages, then that’s excellent news, and just keep on doing what you’re doing. 

How To Check Your App Usage Rates

So, now that you know what the average app usage is, you might be wondering how to check your app usage percentage for yourself. Well, have no fear, I have your back.
