Member Jungle App and Chat Acceptable Use Policy

Our policies play an important role in maintaining a positive experience for our clubs and member users. Please follow these policies when using Member Jungle. Be sure to check back from time to time, as we may change these policies . Please also refer to our General Terms and Conditions which applies to you and your club.

Spam and Commercial Use

Do not send or facilitate the transmission of spam, large numbers of commercial messages, or automated messages or calls. Spam includes, but is not limited to, unwanted promotional or commercial content and unwanted or mass solicitation.

Fraud, Phishing, and Other Deceptive Practices

Do not use Member Jungle for phishing. Refrain from soliciting or collecting sensitive data, including but not limited to passwords, financial details, and Social Security numbers. Do not use Member Jungle to trick, mislead, or deceive other users into sharing information under false pretenses.

Do not impersonate another person or otherwise misrepresent yourself or the source of a Member Jungle chat message or any communication using our systems.

Do not permit any third party that is not an Authorized User to access or use a username or password for access to Member Jungle.

Do not share, transfer or otherwise provide access to an account designated for you to another person.

Malware

We do not allow the transmission of malware, viruses, Trojan horses, corrupted files, destructive code, or anything that may harm or interfere with the operation of the networks, servers, or other infrastructure of Member Jungle or others.

Child Safety

Do not use Member Jungle in any way that exploits children. This includes child sexual abuse imagery or content that presents children in a sexual manner. Member Jungle has a zero-tolerance policy against this content. If we become aware of such content, we will report it to the US National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and any other similar national body as required by law. We may also take disciplinary action, including terminating the Member Jungle accounts of those involved and their club.

This also includes child grooming, which are any actions aimed at establishing a connection with a child to lower the child's inhibitions in preparation for sexual abuse, trafficking, or other exploitation.

If you believe a child is in danger of or has been subject to abuse, exploitation, or been trafficked, contact your local law enforcement immediately.

If you have already made a report to law enforcement and still need help, or you have concerns a child is being or was subjected to grooming on Member Jungle, you can report the behavior to your club and Member Jungle. 

Harassment

Do not use Member Jungle to harass, threaten, or intimidate others. Do not incite others to engage in this behavior.

Do not enter any information that attacks others based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition

Personal and Confidential Information

Do not distribute other people’s personal and confidential information, such as credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, or account passwords, without their permission.

 

Illegal Activities

Do not use Member Jungle to promote, organize, or engage in illegal activities.

Do not use the Member Jungle to store or transmit any Customer Data that may infringe upon or misappropriate someone else's trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property, or that may be tortious or unlawful.

Policy Enforcement

Member Jungle may disable accounts that are found to be in violation of these policies and pass all relevent information onto law enforcement officials under the jurisdiction of your country of residence. 

 

Member Jungle Event Tracker

Enabling the Member Jungle Event Tracker will monitor and securely transmit your location to other members attending an event.

This functionality is opt-in, and uses the location information from your mobile device (and if permitted, your device's "background location") to show your location on the maps of other attendees.

Any and all personal information related to this function is NOT shared with anyone besides the that displayed on the map, which is only accessible by other members attending the event.

The functionality can be stopped at any time by disabling all trackers (on the event page, or from the "Member Jungle Info" navigation item), which will immediately disable the usage of background location and location services.

This functionality may impact battery life and use mobile data, even when the Member Jungle application is not in use ("Background Location").

Although all efforts are made to disable the Event Tracker after the Event it is your responsibility to ensure that it is disabled
